Queues & waiting boards
What it does
Queues track who is waiting and who is being served — for example a check-in line or a service point. A waiting board is a public-facing display of the current queue for people in the waiting area.
Where to find it
Choose Queues from the navigation (/queues). Open a queue to manage it. A waiting board is
shown on its own screen (/waiting-board/…), typically on a display in the waiting area.

Common tasks
Add someone to a queue
Open the queue and add the person (check them in). They join the end of the line.
Call and serve
Call the next person when you're ready; mark them served or completed when done. The queue and any waiting board update in real time.
Show a waiting board
Open the queue's waiting board on a public display so people can see their position and when they're called. Boards show status, not private details.
Tips & limitations
- Waiting boards are designed to avoid showing sensitive information — they display positions/called numbers, not full personal details.
- A person can be in more than one queue (for different service points) at the same time.
