Public health — programme implementing tenants

What it does​

Public health programme mappings link a care programme to one or more implementing tenants (for example a state TB programme run by a national tenant). When a patient enrols in a mapped programme, the platform records a programme-scoped disclosure grant so the implementing tenant can view only programme-disclosed records — not the facility's whole population.

Where to find it​

Open Public health → Programme mappings at /publichealth/programme-mappings.

Enrolment disclosure copy also appears on the Enroll in program dialog on a patient's program list when the selected programme has active implementing-tenant mappings.

Common tasks​

Map a programme to an implementing tenant​

  1. Go to Public health → Programme mappings.
  2. Choose the Programme and Implementing tenant.
  3. Leave Active checked so new enrolments create visibility grants.
  4. Click Create mapping.

Deactivate disclosure for new enrolments​

  1. Edit the mapping and uncheck Active, or click Retire to soft-delete the row.
  2. Existing grants from prior enrolments are not removed automatically — review visibility grants separately if needed.

Enrol a patient with disclosure​

  1. Open a patient's Programs tab and click Enroll in program.
  2. Select a programme with an active implementing-tenant mapping.
  3. Read the Programme disclosure banner naming the implementing tenant(s).
  4. Complete enrolment — the backend records disclosure grants after save.

Tips & limitations​

  • You need publichealth.programme-mapping.read for the admin screen and publichealth.programme-mapping.write to create or retire mappings.
  • The enrolment banner lists implementing tenants when mappings can be loaded; if the caller lacks read permission, a generic disclosure reminder is shown instead.
  • Tenant and programme pickers load from live APIs — do not type UUIDs by hand.
